Jeff is one of the founders and his role at Xanevo is sales. He also works in the design area for the company. His tasks also include the organization of events.
Who are you?
My name is Jeffrey Lim, I am 22 years old. I went to school at Alexander-von-Humboldt Gymnasium (like Jan). Then I worked as a photographer for a magazine in New Zealand, photographing events like Fashion Weeks and other fashion events. After that I studied International Business at a University of Applied Sciences in Vienna, but quickly realized that this is not the right path for me.
How did you come to Xanevo?
I had always planned to found a company in the future. I worked together with Jan several times before, because we have been friends for a long time. Then one day Jan came and asked if I would like to help him in the programming area. We started in the freelancer area and in May we started to move with Timo towards entrepreneurship.
What are your tasks at Xanevo?
I take care of sales for the most part. That means I build everything in the sales area and manage the area as well. After that I do a lot of design with my photography and graphic design background. In addition, there are smaller organizational areas, such as event planning, team building and sometimes photography.
What makes working at Xanevo special?
On the one hand, it's definitely the team. Every day I work with people I like and have fun with. As you can easily see at the team event. You are constantly developing, because sometimes you just have to jump out of your comfort zone and that takes you a lot further in life. After that, it's simply the goals that you set for yourself internally, where you want to go with the company. I have big plans in life and with Xanevo I get a little closer every day.
What do you think makes the company stand out?
I think it's the way we all approach it. Xanevo is as good as its members. We make Xanevo what it stands for, quality implementation of automation solutions. We put a lot of emphasis on having a strong team that optimally implements the projects, no matter what they are, from programming to marketing to sales.
What do you like to do outside of work? Hobbies?
I am very passionate about sports and spend most of my time when I am not working doing sports. I take a very competitive approach to sports and try to beat my records from the previous year. This includes running, swimming, cycling, tennis and fitness. With a good distribution of sports, I can achieve a lot and thus work off 2 disciplines every day. Of course, this correlates with a balanced and healthy diet. In addition, photography is a great hobby of mine.
